Genesis

Well - here we are again. In a few weeks, 6 old guys on 6 old Yamaha dirt bikes will depart from the sleepy town of Monticello, UT on their way to Port Orford, OR. 1,800 miles of mostly non-paved roads and trails in a week and a half. Roughly following the Trans America Trail, this will take up where the last trip left off.

Set your clocks for 10 May 2008 at 8:30 A.M. Mountain Time. The boys will begin the journey, accompanied by one brave soul on a modern KTM, and supported by an overloaded chase truck and driver. GPS coordinates will be uploaded regularly to our mailing list. Sign up now so you don't miss anything. We will also be posting updates and pictures as we have access to the 'Net.

The website is obviously not complete as of today, but should be mostly functional in the next week or so. I expect there will be updates daily until we leave as we continue preparetions.
