A neat little toy as well as a website update

Today's mail brought the duly infamous "pocket chain saw" to your's truly so I will be ready to attack the downed trees - or maybe to do a non-powered imitation of the chain saw massacre! Neat little item - I just hope I don't need it.

The website was updated today with a lot more details about each of the riders as well as the bikes and equipment we are using. There may be a few more things changing there before the ride, but those pages are pretty static anyway.

Only 16 days until the ride kicks off and everyone is getting really pumped. A little nervous too, as there are always those last minute details to attend to. Everyone's bikes are just about ready, and it is just the rest of the equipment packing to do. Don't want to forget much, because the remoteness of the ride - your VISA will not get you many replacements.
